I have always had a passion for photography and the visual arts. Since I shot pictures for the school paper for four years, almost living in the dark room back in the 70s, seeing life through the lens has always been natural for me. The switch to digital has allowed me to return to the darkroom and revel in the beauty God has in store for us.
Expanding my interests through life has included so much, I can’t account for it all here. Chris Orwig once said that to become a better photographer, you can’t retreat into technology, you must get out and live life. By doing this we are better able to recognize that which is beautiful and worthy of capture. To this I say, “Amen”.
My greatest passion is for the Lord and my family and especially my wife, Robyn. Without them, I would miss the very best life has to offer.
When not working as a Professional Engineer, my family and I enjoy live theater. There I have all performed under various roles from ensemble cast to leads and directing. My musical background lends to my understanding of performance arts; through experience I hope to capture these and other venues on film.
